Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases always receive top priority.

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be secured in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Payment Options

We offer a wide range of payment options to meet our client's needs and ensure we can provide the best service possible. We accept cash, check, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, CareCredit and ScratchPay. We require full payment at the time that services are rendered.

Pay Over Time

Get the care you need today, and pay for treatment costs over time with a payment plan with Scratch Pay. The benefits of Scratch Pay are:

  • You can split treatment costs into smaller monthly (or bi-weekly) payments

  • It is not a credit card

  • There is no deferred interest or membership fees

Flexible Financing with CareCredit

We accept the CareCredit credit card as a flexible financing option to help you pay for the care your pet needs, when they need it.

Pet Health Insurance

Health insurance is just as important for your pet as it is for you and your family. At Westchester Veterinary Center, we recommend health insurance for your pet. Pet health insurance is similar to health insurance for people, and provides pet owners with peace of mind in the event of an accident or major illness.

Health insurance will help cover the veterinary medical costs for your pet for accidents and unexpected illnesses that occur after enrollment. After treatment, simply submit your paid invoice along with a pet insurance claim form to be reimbursed at the rate determined by the insurance company. There is no extra change for being referred to a specialist or visiting an emergency clinic, and there are discounts available for supplements and therapeutic diets.

If you have questions or would like more information about enrolling your pet in a health insurance plan, please reach out to our team.
